Little do they know what lays in store - for the car and the money belongs to a vicious gangster/loan shark called Faujdaar (Anupam Kher)! For those who do not know, let me tell you that Kambhakt Ishq is a remake of the Tamil movie “Pammal K Sambandham” which starred Kamal Hassan, Simran, Abbas and Sneha. These roles are played by Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kappor, Aftab Shivdasani and Amrita Arora respectively in Kambahakt Ishq. Let me just brief you about the storyline. Viraj Shergill (Akshay Kumar) who works as a stuntman in Hollywood has a negative opinion about women. On the other hand, Simrita (kareena) is a medical student who does modeling as a part time job. She is a person who has adverse feeling towards men. Lucky (Aftab Shivdasani), the younger brother of Viraj, falls in love with Kamini, (Amrita Arora) Samrita’s best friend and both of them get married against the wishes of Viraj and Samrita. From there, the movie proceeds like a C-grade Bollywood picture as usual with lots of masala. Even though the stunts of Akshay Kumar are good, the movie has not lived up to its hype. The songs which have been composed Anu Malik are also very bad. Kareena’s bikini act may be a treat for her fans; otherwise this is absolutely a waste of money and time. So if you are very keen on wasting your time and money, the go and watch this movie!!!!!!!
